This is the Courthouse in Sulpher Springs, TX. I wish it showed up better, one of the prettiest buildings I have ever seen. It's red and cream and sits in the middle of a round about. I made about 3 circles trying to find a spot for the best picture.

Architecture
This staircase is in the Loretto Chapel (built in the 1870's) in Santa Fe, New Mexico...It contains 33 steps in two full 360 degree turns...It has no center support nor is it held from its sides..Its full weight rests on its final tread...And can you imagine it wasn't until 10 years after the staircase was finished they added a railing and banister...
Architecture
I know this isn't quite the architecture that would be famous BUT it is my son's house when it was first built and I am so jealous as its new, of course, it has a finished cellar (mine is old but getting better to husband Roger cleaning and refinishing it) AND did I say it was NEW. Ha. I probably wouldn't ever move (notice the probably) but thats what dreams are for.
