These pages are from my scrapbook, when I was 9-years-old, of the crowning of Queen Elizabeth. They are dated May 31, 1953, which I find confusing, since England is celebrating her accession to the throne in 2012. Maybe it took all those months, after her father died, to organize the coronation. These papers are the New York Sunday News, Daily Mirror, and My Weekly Reader.

Linda and I sort of celebrated without even realizing the other day by having cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches for lunch..haha
