It is really a shadow... Of my husband and I hiking last Saturday, it was a beautiful sunny day!

EYES
On that same hike, the chipmunk's eye staring at me, waiting for me to move on and clear his territory...

    Beautiful pictures Dorit. We have many chipmunks here and I always name them Chippy. I feed peanuts to the birds and last summer when garage door was open, I was missing many peanuts. Found out, many chippys were snacking.
