This was my vegetable garden until I found out it was way too big for me to handle. These were my helpers so you can see a couple of my problems. I think this was the time that Grayden yelled out "Meme, Gracie's stepping on the maters!!!!" The garden has been moved and is much smaller and most of the time, no one is interested in helping (only eating the peas). The old donkey Cleo is in the background (no longer with us).
Sounds like the story of Chicken Little and the sky is falling...
ReplyDeleteI will help you any time. "Will work for food" I love little girls in sun dresses.
ReplyDeleteI made the picture big to look for the donkey. Is it rolling on the ground with its feet up?
ReplyDeleteI see something brown to the right. Is that it? Is he ABOVE ground? Linda, you sound like my husband. Every year he gets "carried away" planting things. It's so EASY to plant that he forgets the amount of work to come later. He chalks it up to over planting so the deer and rabbits can take their fill.
ReplyDeleteI think she (the donkey) is laying down. I assumed it was her, I can't zoom in to see. We used to let her wander around the backyard and she never went near the road. People used to stop and tell us all the time that our horse was out. There was no fence so don't know how they knew she was out. Ha. Miss her but not the five gallon pails of water we hauled to her in the winter. She used to poop in Jason's yard. He didn't think it was as funny as we did.
